Change Tape and Reel of components which are off
Operate the feeder exclusively by its handles
(see picture).
Lift the feeder slightly and draw it out to remove.
Removing can be done even if the
production is running as long as no
feeder lane is blinking on the feeder to
remove (if blinking, the P&P will access
the lane during the next cycle).
Apply the feeder to the external feeder setup
station, mounted on the signal tower.
empty reel while pulling out the
magnetic held roll holder sheet (see picture).
The 8 mm feeder has two lanes, therefore
contains also two reels (upper reel for left lane,
lower reel for right lane).
Insert the new reel, full of components (upper
and/or lower reel).
