Remove/Replace the RFID Board for the Rewind Motors (A000365-01);
Printer Mount
Tools needed: T10 Torx Driver
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers.
Important: This procedure can only be performed by authorized
service personnel.

Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.

Remove the Ribbon Rewind Motor, the Gear (D920170) and Encoder Wheel (810492) See
Replacing the Rewind Motor (D900406).

Disconnect the cable from the RFID Board.

Remove the two (2) screws (F000177) from the RFID Board. (Note: Slide the Board out from
the Frame.) See Display A in this procedure.

Replace it with the new RFID Board. (Note: This Board will slide into slots on the left side.)

Reconnect the cables. (Note: The top Board connects to J19. The bottom Board connects to
J20.)
7
Replace the Ribbon Rewind Motor. Reverse the instructions to re-assemble. Refer to Display A
below.
