Remove/Replace the Upper and Lower Take-up Motor (D920189)
Tools needed:
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers.
Important: This procedure can only be performed by authorized
service personnel.
The same part number is used for both the Single and Dual
Lamination Modules. The Single Laminator uses one (1) Motor. The
Dual Laminator uses two (2) Motors. Both Motors use cable
D920153.
Step
Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.

Remove the Covers.

Disconnect the cable (D920153) from the top of the Motor.

Hold the Motor in one hand and the Shaft in the other. Push it in and turn the Motor to release it
from the Frame.
 The (lower) Motor for the SINGLE Lamination is removed by turning it clock-wise to release
it and counter clock-wise to replace it. Refer to Display A in this procedure.
 The (upper) Motor for the DUAL Lamination Module is removed by turning it counter
clock-wise to release and clock-wise to replace it. Refer to Display B in this procedure.

 Display C shows the cutout area to place the Motor (into) before turning it to lock it in place.

Caution: Do not pinch the wires.
