Remove/Replace the Ribbon Sensor (D910556)
Tools needed: T10 Torx Driver
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers.
Remove the Card Path
Remove the Fan Box Bracket
Remove the Main Chassis
Important: This procedure can only be performed by authorized
service personnel.

Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.

Remove the Main Chassis to access the Ribbon Sensor located on the bottom of the
chassis frame.

Disconnect the wire from the PCB.
Unclip the PCB from the plastic tabs.
4
Reassembly all parts using reverse assembly process.
