Remove/Replace the Lamination Head (D920022) and (D920023)
Tools needed: T10 Torx Driver
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers..
Important: This procedure can only be performed by
authorized service personnel.
This part is sold as one assembly which includes the
Film LED (A000454) Head Lift Sensor (E000186)
Thermocouple RTD (A000449) and the wires.
Step
Procedure
1
Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.

Remove the Covers.

Remove the gear to access the Lamination assembly
4
Disconnect the cable from the Motor (top).
5
Disconnect the wires from the Main Board.
6
Reverse the instructions to re-assemble. (Note: The wires are routed in a specific way
around the pegs, provided on the Frame.)
