Example DC cable connection with one-hole cable lug
Busbar and connection dimensions:
Torques for electrical connections:
• Tighten M8 bolts to 22 N·m.
• Tighten M10 bolts to 42 N·m.
• Tighten M12 bolts to 70 N·m.
You can connect the DC input grounding busbar and the frame to the same external main
earthing bar.
The required bolts, washers and nuts are delivered with the inverter.
If you plan to use cable lugs that have two holes, make sure that they fit the DC input
terminal. If you use lugs that have one hole, you can connect them to any of the holes in a
DC input terminal.
Due to safety reasons, FIMER does not recommend cable lugs that are wider cable lugs
than the DC busbars or holes that are larger than those recommended in the table above.
In these cases, contact FIMER for an adapter solution. The adapter size is 10×50 mm,
13 mm hole (M12 bolt) for 8, 12 and 16 input devices. No adapter is available for 20 and
24 input devices. The maximum size for cable lugs in 20 and 24 input devices are
6×25 mm and 5×25 mm (equal to the busbar size), respectively. The ultimate width limit for
cable lugs in 20 and 24 input devices is 25 mm (equal to the busbar sizes: 6×25 mm for 20
inputs and 2×25 mm for 24 inputs).

With option +H357, the lead-through size is 5...35 mm/lead-through in diameter. Because
the insulation thickness varies between the cables, consider dimensioning according to
the cable used. If a larger cable dimension is needed, order the inverter with blind plates
(standard delivery).
