 Functional grounding unit
The MGND-01 is a functional grounding unit mounted to a DIN rail on the wall of the DC
section. With the MGND-01, functional grounding can be done from either the positive pole
or negative pole through a resistor. The MGND-01 has grounding current measurement
and fuse protection for excess grounding current. An external 1500 V DC contactor below
the MGND-01 is used to connect the grounding.
Note: The MGND-01 is not present in deliveries with the floating DC option
(+F314).
Software control for grounding is identical regardless of the grounding type. The following
descriptions and parameters are valid for all types of grounding.
