Mechanical installation
This chapter describes the mechanical installation of the inverter, and gives instructions on
how to select the location and build the foundation for the inverter. Always obey all local
regulations.
Safety
Refer to Safety instructions on page 9.
For instructions on how to move the inverter, refer to Storing, lifting and transporting on
page 21.
Required tools
The tools required to move the inverter, fasten it to the foundation, and tighten the
connections:
• Crane, forklift, or pallet truck (with sufficient load capacity)
• Pozidriv and Torx (2.5 mm to 6 mm) screwdrivers with short and long heads or bits
• Torque wrench
• Set of wrenches and sockets
Unpacking
Before the delivery, make sure that the installation is built according to the instructions and
regulations. To prevent damage to the inverter, unpack the inverter as late as possible
before the installation. Refer to Technical data on page 93 for the permitted operating
conditions, and Dimension drawings on page 117.
