Disposal The inverter contains raw materials that should be recycled to preserve
energy and natural resources. The package materials are environmentally
compatible and recyclable. All metal parts can be recycled. The plastic parts
can either be recycled or burned under controlled circumstances, according
to local regulations. Most recyclable parts are marked with recycling marks.
If recycling is not feasible, all parts excluding electrolytic capacitors and
printed circuit boards can be disposed of in landfills. The printed circuit
boards may contain lead which is classified as hazardous waste within the
EU. They must be removed and handled according to local regulations.
For further information on environmental matters and recycling, contact your
local FIMER representative.
Coolant medium in heat
exchangers
R134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane)
The coolant is a non-flammable gas that is commonly used as a refrigerant in
domestic and industrial applications. The coolant is in hermetically sealed
containers which do not need to be opened. When the inverter is disposed of
or the cooling element is replaced, the cooling elements must be recycled
and handled according to local regulations.
