Gently pull the top cover away from the camera body.
Place the camera over the surface and securely fasten the three tapping screws clockwise into the
plastic anchors.

(Optional) Insert microSD card into the slot on the camera body (see Internal Interfaces).
Caution
Before you can record clips on the microSD card, it must first be formatted in the System Settings
section of the camera’s web page. See SD Card Page
.
Check that the camera's orientation covers the required field of view. The camera has three axes to
adjust the field of view:
Pan adjustment: Rotate the lens base until satisfied with the field of view. Do not rotate over the
default limit.
Horizontal rotation: Rotate the 3D assembly in the lens, but do not turn the assembly further than
the limit. Doing so can cause internal cables to become twisted, disconnected, or broken.
Tilt adjustment: Within the allowed range, tilt the camera lens to your desired field of view.
