Enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play): When enabled, any unit on the LAN can detect the camera and
you can configure the Mode:
IP and Device Name (default): When the camera connects to the LAN, other units on the LAN detect
the camera by its IP address, model, and serial number (configurable on the Firmware & Info Page
).
Device Name: When the camera connects to the LAN, other units on the LAN detect the camera by
its model and serial number.
User Input: When selected, you can configure a Friendly Name for the camera. When the camera
connects to the LAN, other units on the LAN detect the camera by its specified Friendly Name.
By default, UPnP is enabled. To disable it, move the slider to the left.

Enable DDNS (Dynamic DNS): When enabled, DNS records are automatically updated. Before enabling,
you must first register with a DDNS service provider. When enabled, you can configure the Type
(provider):
DynDNS (default): custom@dyndns.org
No-IP: default@no-ip.com
Two-DNS: default@two-dns.de
FreeDNS: default@freedns.afraid.org
Specify the Host Name, User Name, and Password for the DDNS account.
If you are using FreeDNS, you need to specify a Hash value, which is an encrypted string representing
your user name and password. To determine the Hash value, go to http://freedns.afraid.org
.
By default, DDNS is disabled. To enable it, move the slider to the right.
