Installing the Web Player (Internet Explorer)
When using Internet Explorer to access the camera’s web page, the Ariel Player enables you to view live
video. After logging into the unit, if the Ariel Player has been previously installed, live video appears in
the Live View window. If live video does not appear, the Ariel Player plug-in is not installed on your PC
and the following message appears in the Live View window:

To install the Ariel Player
1. Click the appropriate link to download and install it.

The Ariel Player plug-in information bar appears at the bottom of the window.

Continue with step 2, unless the following message appears:
Figure 85: Corrupt/Invalid Signature
In some cases, in closed networks, Internet Explorer will not install the Ariel Player on the client PC
because it cannot verify the Ariel Player’s digital signature (because the local certificate is out of
date, invalid, or missing). In these cases, to install the Player:
a. Click View downloads. The View Downloads screen opens.
