Figure 56: Alarm Page
By default, no alarm rules are defined and enabled.
To create an alarm rule
1. Click Create New. The rule configuration Trigger screen appears.

2. Rule name: Specify a unique and useful name for the rule.
3. Select the type of trigger event:
VMD: Select whether camera Defocus, Motion detection, or Tampering triggers an alarm.
When Motion is selected, specify the tampering Sensitivity (1-100). When Tampering is selected,
specify the tampering Sensitivity (High, Mid, Low).
Note
If you are defining a Motion alarm rule, make sure a motion zone has been defined and
enabled on the Motion Page
.
I/O:
o Select whether the Alarm input or the Audio input triggers an alarm.
o Type: Select whether the input is Normally Open or Normally Closed.
