only, or
3. Select Remote Control to enable remote control
and video streaming.
4. Launch the relevant Raymarine mobile app on
your smart device and follow any onscreen
instructions.
21.5 Wi-Fi Sharing Settings
Wi-Fi settings can be accessed from the Wi-Fi
Sharing menu (Homescreen > Set-up > Wireless
Connections > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Sharing.
Wi-Fi Name
The default Wi-Fi Name
(SSID) is made up of
the MFD product and
serial numbers (e.g. RM
E70265 0350138) this
can be customized to a
more memorable name
if desired but should be
unique to the MFD.

Wi-Fi
Passphrase
The default Wi-Fi
Passphrase is a unique
string generated by the
MFD, this can also be
customized if desired.
Note: Ensure the
passphrase you
choose is 'strong'
by using a combination
of upper and lower
case letters, numbers
and special characters.
The passphrase can
be between 8 and
63 characters in
length with longer
passphrases being
more secure.

Wi-Fi
Channel:
If you experience
interference (Wi-Fi
connection keeps
dropping) then the Wi-Fi
Channel can be changed
to a channel with less
activity.
Note:
• The Wi-Fi channel
option will be grayed
out when connected
to an Access point /
mobile hotspot.
• The MFD will
connect to Channels
12 and 13, however
these channels are
not selectable.
Tip Free Wi-Fi Analyzer
apps are available for
smart devices to help you
choose a less congested
channel.
