Accessing the homescreen
The homescreen can be accessed from any
application.
To access the homescreen follow the steps below:
1. Select the homescreen icon on-screen.

1. Press the Home button.
Note: The e7 and e7D have a combined Menu
and Home button, to access the homescreen press
and hold the Menu / Home button for 3 seconds.
Databar status symbols
The status symbols on the databar conrm whether
the appropriate connections to your system have
been made.
The symbols show the status for the following:
• Radar scanner.
• AIS receiver / transceiver.
• Sonar module.
• GPS receiver.
• Autopilot.
Autopilot status symbols
The autopilot status is indicated in the databar.
Symbol Description
Autopilot is in Standby
mode.
Autopilot is in Track
mode.
Autopilot is in Auto
mode.
No autopilot detected.
Autopilot alarm active.
Dodge mode is active.
Fish mode is active.
Symbol Description
Autopilot calibration.
Power steering active.
Wind Vane mode is
active.
Radar scanner status symbols
The Radar scanner power mode status is indicated
in the databar located at the top of the screen.

Rotating icon
The Radar is powered on and
transmitting. This is the usual
mode of operation.
Standby
(STBY)
Static icon
The Radar is powered on but
not transmitting. On Open Array
Radars the antenna is not rotating.
The Radar does not transmit and
Radar data is not shown onscreen.
This is a power-save mode used
when the Radar is not needed
for short time periods. This is the
default mode.
Sleep Static icon
Radar scanners connected over
Wi-Fi go into a sleep mode when
powered down, this is so that the
Wi-Fi connection is still available to
re-connect to the Radar.
Off Grayed out icon
Wired Radar powered off or no
Radar is connected.
Timed
Trans-
mit
Radar switches between rotating
and static icon
Radar switches between
on/transmitting, and standby/sleep
in Timed Transmit mode.
AIS status symbols
AIS status is indicated by a symbol in the databar.
Symbol Description
AIS unit is switched on and operating.
AIS currently unavailable.
