8 Download postage
To load postage, you connect to the data center with your postage meter and call the
desired amount. Billing occurs according to your contract with the USPS.
If users are enabled, postage download might not be available. In that case, please
contact the system administrator.
Loading postage
• Make sure PostBase Vision has a network
connection.
• Open the M
ENU.
• Choose D
OWNLOAD POSTAGE.
• Keep the displayed amount.
Or
Type the desired amount.
• Confirm the displayed amount with
L
OAD POSTAGE and continue.
To load the displayed sum:
• Confirm the confirmation prompt with Y
ES.
PostBase Vision will then establish a
connection to the data center. Loading
continues automatically. Please stand by.
Data exchange may take some time.
The new descending amount is displayed
when loading is complete.
• Use R
EPORT to view and print the loading
report.
