11.2 Generating a newQR code
• Open the MENU.
• Choose P
RINTED TEXT/QR-CODE.
• Tap the N
EW QR CODE button.
PostBase Vision opens the on-screen key-
board with a prompt to enter the URL.
• Enter the URL (Internet address) that you
want to have encrypted in the QR code.
Note: You have five lines available for your
text. Once the maximum line length has
been reached, PostBase Vision will not
allow you to enter anything further in this
line. You insert line breaks manually.
• Confirm the URL displayed and continue
with the CONTINUE button.
• Now, enter the text that you want to appear
next to the QR code in clear text.
Note
: Five short lines are available for this
accompanying text. Once the line length
has been fully used, PostBase Vision will
not allow you to enter anything further in
this line. You insert line breaks manually.
• Confirm with OK.
The QR code with the accompanying text is
stored and appears immediately in the selec-
tion list for advertising imprints.
For information on how to use the on-screen
keyboard, please refer to chapter 4.3.7 on
page 45.
You can also generate new QR codes in the
selection list for advertising imprints directly.
As long as not all storage spaces have been
assigned, the button “New QR code” will
appear in the list.
