OUTDOOR UNIT Error Method:
Pump Down Error
Indicate or Display:
Outdoor Unit : LED1 Flash, LED2 9 Times Blink
Indoor Unit : Operation LED Lighted Continuously (Normal Operation)
ERROR CODE : E : 00
Detective Actuators:
Outdoor Unit Controller PCB circuit
Discharge Thermistor
Discharge Pressure Sensor
Detective details:
Pump-down has continued for over 10 minutes.
During pump-down, Discharge pressure (High Pressure) is measured higher
than 4.0MPa, and Pressure Sensor Error is occurred, then higher than
120°C of Discharge temperature is detected after 2 minutes of detecting
the discharge temperature of higher than 120°C.
Pump-down completion indication has lasted longer than 3 minutes.
Check Point 1 : Check if Gas Pipe Valve is open
If it is not open, open it and check the operation.
Check Point 5 : Check EEV and Solenoid Valve
Check Solenoid Valve (SV4 of Main Unit)(PARTS INFORMATION 9)
>>If EEV or Solenoid Valve is defective, replace it.

Check Point 2 : Check Outdoor FAN, Heat Exchanger
Is there anything obstructing the air distribution circuit?
Is there any clogging of Outdoor Heat Exchanger?
To prevent the discharge of the refrigerant into the
atmosphere, follow the procedure indicated below
to recover the refrigerant from an outdoor unit
before moving or discarding the unit.
Up to approximately 20 kg can be recovered per
outdoor unit.
If the volume od the refrigerant to be recovered is
large, recover it into a refrigerant recovery cylinder
while measuring the weight of the refrigerant.
Is the Fan rotating? (Check by hand and If it is locked, replac e the motor)
Check Outdoor Fan Motor (PARTS INFORMATION 12)
>>If the Fan Motor is defective, replace it.
Check Point 1-1 : Reset Power

Check Point 1-2 : Check Pressure Sensor

Forecast of Cause : 1. Valve is close 2. Pressure Sensor failure 3. Outdoor Fan failure
