5. Turn on the power switch on the Communication Unit.
IP Handsets connected to the Communication Unit can take up to 40 seconds to
power up and show the start-up screen.
Wait approximately three minutes for the main screen to display.
When the main screen Shows the icons and in green on the status bar,
communication is possible.
Main screen
Note 1: Usually, a few minutes is required for the above screen to display. If there
are obstacles or interference in the path of the satellite, more time may be re-
quired.
Note 2: You may be asked for PIN code depending on SIM card settings. If pass-
word is required, go to step 6.
Note 3: You can call the 505 emergency or 32/38/39 urgency number with no PIN
code. Press the key to select [Rescue]. See section 2.4 how to use the res-
cue call.
6. Press the 0 to 9 key to input the 4- to 8-digit PIN code.
7. Press S or T to select [OK], then press the Enter key.
If the PIN code is input correctly, the main screen appears on the IP Handset. If
input wrong, the message "Invalid PIN" appears.
