ANALOGUE LOOPS
The Analogue Loops provide the connection to all the analogue addressable devices and loop powered sounders.
Unless the loop is completed the panel will not be able to monitor its integrity (open and short circuit monitoring).
Unused Analogue Loops should have wire links fitted.
Connection to the Analogue Loop is via the ANALOGUE LOOP CONNECTION BOARD in Main Panels or Repeaters with
Integrated Sub-panels and via dedicated connectors on Standard Sub-panels.
Standard Sub-panels may be located within the Main Panel box or housed externally.
Devices that can be fitted to the Analogue Loop include smoke sensors, heat sensors, Zone Monitor Units (ZMU), I/O
units, loop sounders and manual call-points.
