• Media sensor test (Paper sensor)
Put a paper on the paper sensor, and then remove it.
Paper sensor
• Home sensor test (Detector switch)
Move the tool carriage slowly to the left end.
• Tool up/down test (Width detection sensor)
Push the "up" and "down" buttons to see if the tool moves up and down.
• Suction fan test
Visually check that the fan is working.
• RM sensor LED test
Visually check that registration mark LED is ashing.
• Media set lever test (Cam board)
Change the position of the media set levers to check the positions are shown correctly on the
screen.
(5) Press "Exit" button to return to the HOME screen after all tests are completed.
