Minimum clearances
When installing, respect the following minimum
clearances from xed parts or walls
Ö adjacent gures
y Both sides and above: a= 100mm
y Front: w= 200mm
y Rear: c= 170mm
Temperature and pressures of the cooling air
Important
y
A cooling air feed above 40°C can lead to power restrictions;
in extreme cases it can cause damage to the generator.
► The temperature of the supplied cooling air should not
exceed 40°C.
y A maximum underpressure of P

allowed in the suction path of the cooling air,
otherwise, asucient quantity of cooling air
cannot be drawn in.
y In the blow-out area of the cooling air on the
front side, amaximum overpressure of P

7Pa may arise as otherwise there will not be
sucient circulation of the cooling air.

► Do not impair the circulation of
the cooling air with other air ows
(e.g.from the front or from the side).
