Operation
System restart iMAPLA controller
6.9 System restart iMAPLA controller
In processor-controlled systems, faults may arise when processing
information during processing programs. In this case, the processor system
must be brought into apre-dened home position. This is achieved via
a“restart”.
For certain faults, asystem restart of the iMAPLA controller will be necessary.
Carrying out the restart
In the system, the MMI is supplied with voltage by the generator
Ö Establish the system’s readiness for use, page106.
> Switch o the drive unit.
> Wait until the MMI displays goes out, but for at least 45seconds. It is only
now that it is assumed that the MMI is fully de-energised and the restart
was carried out correctly.
> Switch the drive unit back on.
In the system, the MMI is not supplied with voltage by the generator
Ö External supply, Establish the system’s readiness for use, page106
> Switch o the voltage supply for the MMI.
> Wait until all displays on the MMI have gone out. It is only now that it is
assumed that the MMI is fully de-energised and the restart was carried out
correctly.
> Switch on the voltage supply for the MMI.
