System restart iMAPLA controller
6.9 System restart iMAPLA controller
In processor-controlled systems, faults may arise when processing
information during processing programs. In this case, the processor system
must be brought into apre-dened home position. This is achieved via
a“restart.
For certain faults, asystem restart of the iMAPLA controller will be necessary.
Carrying out the restart

Ö Establish the system’s readiness for use, page106.
> Switch o the drive unit.
> Wait until the MMI displays goes out, but for at least 45seconds. It is only
now that it is assumed that the MMI is fully de-energised and the restart
was carried out correctly.
> Switch the drive unit back on.
In the system, the MMI is not supplied with voltage by the generator
Ö External supply, Establish the system’s readiness for use, page106
> Switch o the voltage supply for the MMI.
> Wait until all displays on the MMI have gone out. It is only now that it is
assumed that the MMI is fully de-energised and the restart was carried out
correctly.
> Switch on the voltage supply for the MMI.
