Generator installation for iMAPLA 8, 13, 17and 20
Important
The drive belt must not sag
loosely.
When using narrow belt pulleys of type SPA, the clearance between the axes
must not exceed 600mm. For permissible axis clearances for other belts, ask
the manufacturer.
Note
For systems iMAPLA 8, 13, 17and 20, we generally recommend
you use high-performance belts/V-belts of types XPA or
AVX13.

from the point where the shaft exits
the bearing plate.
If the belt pulley attachment to the shaft is
placed further out, reduce the tension of the belt
accordingly in order to balance out the increased
leverage eect on the shaft.
