10.2.21 Lower tolerance (Lower tol.)
This parameter describes the lower tolerance limit for the dosing result. If the
dosing result falls below the tolerance limit, the dosing status is displayed as
“Below tolerance limit”, and the correspondingly configured digital output (Tol.-
or Tol.Error) is set. The status is cleared on the next startup.
When re-dosing is active, re-dosing is automatically carried out if the dosing
result is below the lower tolerance limit. When you enter the target weight, the
lower tolerance limit is automatically set to 99.8% of the target weight if no
lower tolerance is set.
10.2.22 Upper tolerance Upper tol.)
This parameter describes the upper tolerance limit for the dosing result. If the
dosing result exceeds the tolerance limit, the dosing status is displayed as
“Below tolerance limit”, and the correspondingly configured digital output (Tol.+
or Tol.Error) is set. The status is cleared on the next startup.
When you enter the target weight, the upper tolerance limit is automatically set
to 100.2% of the target weight if no upper tolerance is set.
10.2.23 Systematic difference (Syst.diff.)
Filling processes may be subject depending on the system to a specific
amount of filling material that is lost after every filling or additional material that
is added. Consequently, this shortfall or surplus, which only occurs after check
weighing, cannot be detected by the optimization process. You can, however,
use the “Systematic difference” function to take account of it.
Activate the function with the Syst.diff. parameter, specifying the overfill
(positive value) or underfill (negative value) as appropriate. A maximum of ±5%
of the nominal value is allowed.
Example
To fill sacks with a filling weight of 50 kg, each bar is ejected after the
checkweighing. During release, the sack clamp takes about 200 g of material
