Figure 21 shows a typical user panel radiation status condition, indicating:
• the nuclear sensor interlock switch is on, yellow indicator and switch position
• the basis weight sensor button has been enabled, yellow ring indicator
• the basis weight shutter was commanded open, overall large red indicator and
smaller red indicator above basis weight enable button
• the shutter is open, green indicator above radiation symbol is off

Figure 23 shows a safe working condition indicated by the user panel radiation status
lights. The green, shutter closed indicator is on and the red shutter indicators are all off.
