The three buttons/indicators to the right of the head split switch control the scanner
movement. The scan and offsheet buttons are used to enable the scanning process as well
as to move the scanner in manual mode (scan moves forward towards the distant end, and
offsheet moves the head towards the cable end).
In the instance of a safety fault, the three scan control buttons will flash. Holding the
offsheet button for eight seconds will clear the safety fault and allow scanning if the
problem has been rectified.
Scan control indicator status messages
The scan control indicators may flash to indicate scanner operating states. Table 11
describes the visual feedback provided by the scanner user panel to inform the operator
about scanner operation.
