Lump Detector is a digital input and should be off. This signal comes in on the FC card. This signal will
trigger the scanner to go to off sheet nearest side mode. Off sheet commands can be used to get the
scanner out of off sheet near side mode, if the lump digital input is off.

The Q4000 design implements the radiation shutter status lights on cable and distant end
scanner user panels (see Figure 55), and on each side of the upper and lower heads (see
Figure 56).
