7. Lift the heatsink and processor from the nod e.
To install a processor:
1. Remove the p rotective cover from the processor (Figure 83).

2. Align the holes in the heatsink with the guiding pegs on the processor cage (Figure 84).
CAUTION:
Topreventpossiblenodemalfunctionordamagetotheequipment,besuretoalignthe
processor pins with the corresponding holes in the socket.
