Usage guidelines
This command is applicable only to 802.11n radios. Changing the radio mode to 802.11a, 802.11b, or
802.11g invalidates the command.
The device can receive but cannot send LDPC packets.

long-retry threshold
Use long-retry threshold to set the maximum number of hardware retransmissions for large
frames.
Use undo long-retry threshold to restore the default.
Syntax
long-retry threshold count
undo long-retry threshold
Default
The maximum number of hardware retransmissions is 4 for large frames.

Parameters
count: Specifies the maximum number of hardware retransmissions for large frames, in the range of
1 to 15.
Usage guidelines
Large frames are frames larger than the RTS threshold. If a radio fails to transmit a packet when the
maximum number of hardware retransmissions is reached, the AP selects another transmission rate
for the packet. The radio uses the new rate to transmit the packet again.
