Huawei RH8100 V3 - Installing a DVD Drive+Lcd Module

● You have determined the position on the RH8100 V3 for removing a DVD
drive+LCD module.
Tools
● ESD gloves
● Packaging materials, for example, an ESD bag
Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see 1 Safety Instructions.
Step 2 Press the button on the DVD drive+LCD module until the handle shows up. See
step (1) in Figure 5-19.
Step 3 Pull the DVD drive+LCD module out of the slot while holding the handle. See step
(2) in Figure 5-19.

Step 4 Remove the DVD drive and LCD from the DVD drive+LCD module, and place the
module in an ESD bag.
