Check the RH8100 V3 in the sequence shown in Figure 7-2.

Procedure
Check indicator status.
1. Observe RH8100 V3 indicator status, and check that the device hardware is
operating properly.
For details, see 2.4 Indicators and Buttons.
Log in to the iBMC WebUI.
2. Set an IP address for the PC, and ensure that the IP address is on the same
network segment as the iBMC management network port.
3. Connect the Ethernet port on the PC to the iBMC management network port
on HFC-2 over the LAN.
Figure 7-3 shows the network connection.
