Procedure
Step 1 Set an IP address for the PC, and ensure that the IP address is on the same
network segment as the iBMC management network port.
Step 2 Connect the Ethernet port on the PC to the iBMC management network port on
HFC-2 over the LAN.
Figure 9-5 shows the network connection.

Step 3 Open a browser on the PC, enter the IP address of the iBMC management
network port in the address box, and press Enter. Then enter the user name and
password to log in, as shown in Figure 9-6.
For details about the default data of the iBMC management network port, see 7.1
Conguration Overview. The IP address of the iBMC management network port
is planned as follows:
● In single-system mode, the RH8100 V3 has only one iBMC management
network port IP address. To log in to the iBMC WebUI, enter the IP address.
● In dual-system mode, both system A and system B of the RH8100 V3 have an
iBMC management network port IP address. To log in to the iBMC WebUI of
system A, enter the IP address of system A. To log in to the iBMC WebUI of
system B, enter the IP address of system B.
If the system displays the message "The maximum number of sessions has been reached."
when you attempt to log in to the iBMC WebUI for the rst time using Internet Explorer,
press Ctrl+Shift+DEL, and click Delete in the displayed dialog box to clear the browser
cache. Then attempt to log in again.
