Open VPN
OpenVPN implements virtual private network
technology employing an open source
software application. The LIP-9070
OpenVPN implements User name/password
or certificates for authentication utilizing
SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer/Transport
Layer Security).
Among the needed parameters, once the
Status is enabled, the remote server must be
identified and the authentication parameters,
ID, and Password or certificate must be
defined.
LLDP
When enabled, the LIP-9070 employs LLDP (Link Layer
Discovery Protocol) to advertise capabilities and determine
characteristics of the surrounding network environment.
The phone can determine and automatically configure
VLAN settings for both the LAN and PC ports when LLDP is
enabled.
