You enter details separately for each new asset. Use the text boxes and drop-down menus to
enter:
The asset name. Asset names have to be unique. Before synchronizing several asset data sets it
is recommended to make sure that there are no duplicate names.
The Equipment ID: Equipment IDs have to be unique.
The type of asset: Any new type definition will be available in the dropdown in the future.
Please be careful as also test types or wrong spelled types will be available in the dropdown.
The model number: Specifies the
The size in cubic units: In the dropdown it is possible to select the appropriate units or enter
custom units. For the sort function only the number is used, therefore it is recommended to use a
unified unit.
The manufacturer: Specify the manufacturers name
The Validation frequency: Specify the required validation frequency.
Location: Specify the location of the asset
At the right, you can enter an optional Description of the asset. You can also upload up to
three images of the unit to appear on the Asset Details screen, as well as a wiring overlay
images that provides users of sensor placement on the asset.
When you have finished, press Save to save the entry and return to the Asset Hub, or Cancel to
leave the screen without changes.
