– Cal String shows the current calibration string. This string is
operator-modifiable, used to record such information as the date of the last
calibration, or by whom it was performed. The Calibration String can not be
entered from the front panel keys. It can only be entered/updated using the
remote SCPI command: CALibration STRing. Refer to the Keysight
53210A/53220A/53230A SCPI Programmer’s Reference for details of the
command format.
– Secure Code displays either all dashes ( --- ) or an operator-entered security
code that has not yet been accepted by the counter.
5 When “Lock Cal” is displayed for a softkey, the firmware is unlocked and ready
for calibration. The Perform Cal softkey then becomes available.
6 Press the Perform Cal softkey.

If “Unlock Cal” is displayed for a softkey, the firmware is locked against
