ThiscontrolsthebasicvolumelevelofOscillator1,before
keyboardtracking,velocity,andothermodulation.
MIDI and volume
YoucancontroltheProgram’soverallvolumeviaMIDI
usingbothVolume(CC#7)andExpression(CC#11).
Whenusedoneatatime,thetwocontrollersworkin
exactlythesameway:aMIDIvalueof127isequalto
theAmp“Level”setting,andlowervaluesreducethe
volume.
IfbothCC#7an
dCC#11areusedsimultaneously,the
onewiththelowervaluedeterminesthemaximumvol
ume,andtheonewiththehighervaluescalesdown
fromthatmaximum.
ThisiscontrolledontheglobalMIDIchannel(page72).
Pan [RND, L001...C064...R127]
ThiscontrolsthestereopanofOscillator1.AsettingofL001
placesthesoundatthefarleft,C064inthecenter,andR127
tothefarright.
WhenthisissettoRND(Random),thepanpositionwillbe
differentforeachnoteon.
YoucanalsocontrolpanviaMIDIPa

soundtomovetowardtherightasyouplayhigherthanC4,
andtowardtheleftasyo
uplaylowerthanC4.Negative(–)
intensitieswillhavetheoppositeeffect.
