YoucanswitchthejoystickbetweenLockandUnlockstates
(theLEDwilllightwhenthejoystickislocked).
IfyouturntheLockfunctiononwhileusingthejoystick,the
effectwillbelockedatthatcontrollerposition.
Thisparameterspecifiestherangewherethejoystickeffect
willbelocked.Theef
fectwillbelockedonlywithinthe
rangeyouspecify.JSXLockallowsyoutolocktheeffect
withinthefullrangeoftheX‐axis,JSYLockwithinthefull
rangeoftheY‐axis,JS+YLockwithinthe+Yaxis,JS‐YLock
withinthe‐Yaxis,andJSX&YLockwithinthefullrangesof
theX‐axisandY‐axis.
ForexampleifyouchooseJS+YLock,andthenmovethe
joystickawayfromyourselfandturnLockon,thejoystick
(+Y)operationwillbelocked(held)atthatposition;modu‐
lationwillcontinuetobeappliedev
enwhenyoureturnthe
joysticktoitsoriginalposition.Youcanthenmovethejoy‐
stickinthe‐Ydirectiontoapplybothtypesofmodulation
simultaneously.
Ifyoulockthejoystick,MIDItransmissionofthecorre‐
spondingcontrollerwillstop,butreceptionwillstilloccur.
