Grid
e grid parameter determines the resolution of quantization and the position of the grid
points.
Swing
e Swing parameter determines the amount (in units of percent) of “swing” applied during
quantization.
Release
e Release parameter determines whether or not note-o events are quantized.
Metronome Parameters
Metronome
is parameter determines the recording modes in which the metronome plays. With
Metronome set to O, the metronome never plays. With Metronome set to Rec, the
metronome only plays during recording. With Metronome set to Always, the metronome
plays during playback and recording. With Metronome set to CountO, the metronome
plays only during count o (if the CountO parameter is set to something other than O.)
Count Off
is parameter determines the number of measures the PC4 will count o before recording.
With Start Only selected, the PC4 will only count o at the beginning of a sequence. With
Always selected, the PC4 will count o from any point in a sequence.
Program
is parameter determines the program with which the metronome is played.
Channel
is parameter determines the MIDI channel to which the metronome program and events
are sent.
Strong Note
is parameter determines the MIDI number of the note played by the metronome for the
rst beat of each measure.
Strong Velocity
is parameter determines the velocity of the note played by the metronome for the rst beat
of each measure.
