Step2.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page297.
Step3.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,
ifnecessary.
Step4.Removethetopcover(see“Removingthetopcover”onpage149).
Step5.Ifnecessary,lifttheriser-cardassembly2outoftheway(see“Removingariser-cardassembly”on
page186).
