•BeforeyouremoveanycomponentofaRAIDarray,backupallRAIDconfigurationinformation.
Toremoveahot-swapharddiskdrive,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page297.
Step2.Makesureyousavethedataonyourdrive,especiallyifitispartofaRAIDarray,beforeyou
removeitfromtheserver.
Step3.Slidethelatchtounlockthedrivehandle.
