1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”onpage297.

2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,if

necessary.

3.Removethetopcover(see“Removingthetopcover”onpage149).

4.Removethefancageassembly“Removingthefancageassembly”onpage178).

5.1PullthetabontheLCDretentionbrackettothelefttodisengagetheretentionbracket.2Rotatethe

retentionbrackettoremoveitfromtheserver.
