•Microprocessorsaretobeinstalledonlybytrainedtechnicians.
Important:Alwaysusethemicroprocessorinstallationtooltoinstallamicroprocessor.Failingtouse
themicroprocessorinstallationtoolmaydamagethemicroprocessorsocketsonthesystemboard.Any
damagetothemicroprocessorsocketsmayrequirereplacingthesystemboard.
•TheserversupportsuptotwoIntelXeonE5-2600v4orIntelXeonE5-2600v3seriesmulti-core
microprocessors,whicharedesignedfortheLGA2011socket.Seehttp://www.lenovo.com/

Notes:
–IfyourserverispreinstalledwithIntelXeonE5-2600v4seriesmulti-coremicroprocessors,donot
downgradethemicroprocessorstoIntelXeonE5-2600v3series.

mustbeinstalledforpropercooling.
–IfyourserverisinstalledwithoneortwoIntelXeonE5-2600v4seriesmicroprocessorswithwattage
above135watt,sixdual-rotorfansmustbeinstalledforpropercoolingwhentheambienttemperature
exceeds35°C(95°F).
