Use circuit breakers with tripping characteristic C with short-time mains interruptions or low-inductance mains.
For operation of the controllers in a UL-approved plant:
z Use only UL-approved fuses and fuse holders:
500 V to 600 V in the mains input (AC).
700 V in the DC bus.
The tripping characteristic is defined by H” or K5”.
z Use only UL-approved cables.
Tip!
UL-approved fuses and fuse holders can be obtained from, e.g. Bussmann or Ferraz.
Connection of the motor cables
z The protection of the motor cables is not necessary for functional reasons.
z Refer to the data listed in the table Operation with mains filters”.
