4.1.1 Important notes
z Use the controllers only as built-in devices!
z If the cooling air contains pollutants (dust, fluff, grease, aggressive gases):
– Take suitable preventive measures, e.g. separate air duct, installation of filters, regular
cleaning, etc.
z Observefreespace!
– You can install several controllers next to each other without free space in a control cabinet.
– Ensure unimpeded ventilation of cooling air and outlet of exhaust air!
– Allow a free space of 100 mm at the top and at the bottom.
z Do not exceed the ambient temperature permissible during operation. ( 3-2)
z With continuous oscillations or vibrations:
– Check whether shock absorbers are necessary.
Possible mounting positions
Vertically on the control cabinet back panel with mains connections at the top:
z With enclosed fixing rails or fixing brackets.
z Thermally separated with external heatsink:
– Push-through technique
– ”Cold Plate technique”
