Optimising the current controller
Preparations
z Go to the submenu of the code list (GDC) to code C0292 (SSC I

- setpoint) and enter the
rated current of your drive
z Set the feedback of the drive to ’1’ under C0025 (i.e. drive without feedback)
z For adjusting the current controller use the codes C0075 (V

) and C0076 (T

Lay a motor phase to the current probe connected to an oscilloscope.
z Storage oscilloscope settings:
– Time basis: 200 or 500 μs/div
– Auto trigger
z Select minimum speed setpoint at the controller
Optimisation of current controller:
z Enable the controller until the current indicated on the oscilloscope reaches its maximum
value.
z Inhibit the controller and switch to quick stop.
z Select the trigger mode for the oscilloscope
z Enable the controller for a short time
z Assess the transient response at the oscilloscope. Use C0075 and C0076 to adapt it as shown
in Fig. 5-3.
