OC-1 Ring Function Unit Pass-Through 5
The OC-1 ring function unit pass-through is identical in functionality to the pass-
through supported in the main slots. A function unit pass-through connection
consumes no bandwidth on the ring supported by the OLIUs in the main slots.
Figure 5-14 shows an example of this configuration.
