DDM-2000 OC-3 MULTIPLEXER
Establish TL1/X.25 Interface
1.
NOTE:
The Technical Specifications section of this manual, under TL1/X.25
Telemetry, describes the parameters and connections for the TL1/X.25
telemetry interface.
NOTE:
824-102-151, DDM-2000 Multiplexers, OC-3, OC-12, and FiberReach,
Operations Systems Engineering Guide
describes the TL1 command
parameters and engineering considerations.
At central office operations DDM-2000 interface shelf, connect the TL1/X.25
cable to J45 on the shelf backplane.
2. Connect CIT and establish session.

3. Are you discontinuing TBOS or parallel telemetry?
If YES, then continue with Step 4.
If NO, then STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
4. Are you discontinuing TBOS or parallel telemetry?
If PARALLEL, continue with Step 5.
If TBOS, proceed to Step 7.
5. Disconnect the parallel telemetry discrete cables from P54, P55, and P61 on
the shelf backplane.
6. STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
7. Disconnect the TBOS cable from J53 on shelf backplane.
8. STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
