4.5 OVER UN-WINDING
PREVENTION DEVICE
The over un-winding prevention device
automatically stops lowering when the amount of
wire rope remaining on the winch drum falls below
a certain level during lowering operations. A
buzzer sounds intermittently to alert the operator
of over un-winding if the operator attempts to
lower the hook from the stopped position.
(1) Detection limit switch
(2) Detection roller
If the warning buzzer sounds, immediately
operate the right-hand control lever to "Hoist up"
(pull toward you) to wind up the wire rope.
