5.9.3.2 STOWING
Auxiliary tools used
(X) Lever block
(Y) Nylon sling
1.
Arrange the machine in the following
posture:
Fully retract the fly jib.
Position the fly jib at an angle of 0 degrees.
Move the machine to a level surface.
Fully retract the boom.
Lower the boom to an angle of 0 degrees.

Attach the hook stowage wire (13) to the
bottom of the No. 1 fly jib (2), then attach the
single hook (10) to the hook stowage wire
(13).
Leave the wire rope (12) with a suitable
amount of slack.
CAUTION
Be sure to use the hook stowage lever when
winching a single hook.

Turn the starter switch to the OFF position.
4.
Take the fly jib remote controller (R) from
inside the cab.
5.
Connect the fly jib remote controller (R) to
the remote control connector (RC).
Operations other than winding up and
winding down are not possible from
inside the cab when the fly jib remote
controller is connected.
A magnet is fitted to the rear of the fly
jib remote controller allowing it to be
attached to the machine body when not
in use.
Do not attach the fly jib remote
controller to the machine body where
the fly jib moves. Otherwise there is a
risk of it becoming trapped and
damaged.
6.
Reconnect the left side of the main boom tip
and the harness on the left side of the fly jib
base using the following procedure:
IMPORTANT
Be sure to reconnect the harness. The
machine will not operate correctly unless
the harness is reconnected.
Check that the harness connectors are
securely inserted after reconnecting.
Fit plugs to protect the unused connectors.
